The last book I read was for a class but it was a really good book... suprisingly. It's called Why Are We In Vietnam? by Norman Mailer. I liked his writing style/language.

The book I'm reading now is The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test by Tom Wolfe. I'm reading more books that were written in the 60's ... I guess...

Also, does anyone enjoy Isaac Adamson?

The last book I read was Written on the Body by Jeanette Winterson. It was quite possibly the most beautiful, delicate, and sensual book I've ever read. Absolutely amazing.

trancerocker16: Intro.

To start things off, I'll say that I hope this community can be a forum for intelligent discussion of new works of literature.

The first question is: What was the last book you read? Did you like it? Why or why not?

The last book I read was Magical Thinking by Augusten Burroughs. I enjoyed it, however I feel he's a better writer when he's writing a full novel, not short stories.

Off we go.
